Melannie is a true patient advocate. She has developed patient education systems, indigent drug enrollment programs, patient recognition gifts, elder and veteran healthcare workshops and works with a young marine unit teaching first aid, nutrition and CPR.
She works or volunteers 12-16 hour days 6-7 days every week. If she's not working she's doing lesson plans, searching for equipment to help her indigent patients. She has recently started providing healthcare check-ups in a hobo village at the railroad tracks near her office.
Melannie truly believes in healthcare for everyone and is doing all she can to make that happen in the community. She deserves this...
